what happens when Yu Chuan does self-pwnage and rents two chalet houses? hilarity ensues.

Anyways this is the 405 chalets video. I missed out recording many segments because i forgot or did not bother. But there are lots of fun parts. Even though we spent most of the time palying cards, sleeping and palying wii. And burnt BBQ. Hooray.

Thanks to all that showed up. It was a great experience, even though Yu Chuan pwned himself again by purchasing 120 chicken wings.

And i saw DAYTONA USA at an arcade. SEGA IS NOT DEAD!

I was given a 10 year old Playstation Dance Dance Revolution mat. Hilarity follows.
I attempt to play various PS1 games with it, including Wipeout (The F-Zero ripoff),
Final Fantasy VII (THE ORIGINAL, NOT THE CRAPPY REMAKES AND PRESEQUELS ON THE PSP)
and of course, Dance Dance Revolution itself.

Build a Rubber band Shooter

You know those cardboard things i used to build during chinese class?

They're rubber band shooters, something which i've perfected building over the past 3 years, with each one improving on the last with newer and better features.

Now here is your opportunity to build one of my simple old shooters with circa 2006 design.It's been dumbgraded and simplified to make it VERY EASY and SIMPLE to build,
with staple points and photo diagram instructions every step of the way.

Just print on 2 sheets of foolscap paper cardboard (A4 size) and with some stationary you are ready to go! With very helpful instructions, and photos of construction you can't go wrong.

This is a standard size 110E, with a standard range of 0-5m. Includes a Super VX card system and one card, which is based on my older AX and Ultra 128. It may not work the first time you build one, as something may go wrong, that's why i have put in detailed instuctions and tips to help newbies build a perfectly working shooter. It has basic safety features such as anti backfire and standardized parts. Easy to use, Basic loading system and 2 buttons. You'll be surprised at accuracy- much better than shooting with your fingers. And in the first place, rubber bands are quite safe.

Background Info: Many people in the past have asked me to build them one of these, and i mostly forget. i have only built 4 to be given away. Barath owns a very primitive one. The original idea was that i was bored and decided to build a rubber band gun back in Primary 4. The first one worked so i have created up to 100 of the damn things today. Of which 2 have been confiscated, 2 blended and one burnt. Most are broken and lost/thrown away. Only the best ones remain. I find it more fun to play and build card drives than actually shooting rubber bands.


Useful applications: Despite the warnings i place on the back of this shooter they are normally used to scare away bloody squirrels from eating my coconuts before they is ripes. And shoot impotent/chunky freaks. and Qian shunut. and Jun xian when he gets annoying. Never yong chang cos he is even more evil than jun xian. Although people offer MONEEE for things like this i have actually never accepted cash. Because to me it's stupid to pay for a bunch of stapled up cardboard. They have no value except when in my hands.

NOTE: NOT FOR IMMATURE/IMPOTENT FREAKS. ie, kang kongs. And please DO NOT AIM AT ANIMALS OR FACE (unless it's a pest that deserves to die eg.mosquitoes) DO NOT MODIFY- the anti backfire is there for a reason. DO NOT ADD IN parts you designed yourself, such as new cards for the sake of safety. I IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGES. Your own risk. although it's not a big one :)

UPDATE: Screw it i screwed all the dates up. Bad boy. Prom night video is on 21st (Wed), and new video on friday (O level test/Explain why 3).
The reason is because there are over 3 films to be filmed this week, and first to finish editing comes up first. To tell you them truth the chihuahuas are not cooperating, making explain why 3 even harder to make. The Broken fruit juicer that was to be used in the o level test video (I told you it was going to be good) is truly broken, and i think my old blender was thrown away.

I am reserving cardboard muffins for as long as i can before the xbox360 is destroyed.
The kang kong 1/10 scale film may well be and truly screwed. The car moves way too fast indoors, i will definietly end up crashing into something expensive. Besides im not in the mood to create 1/10 sca;e eric and malvin dolls to destroy.

I have not finished the flash yet. maybe next month? All i know is prom night may be a complete disaster for puppies like me. Unless it's crazy. Oh please someone throw rocks at malvin. IF ANYBODY ATTEMPTS TO ATTACK ME IMMA CAN GET VELLY ANGRY. Warning done.

TEACHER'S DAY CELEBRATION VIDEO

After several attempts of reviving the VHS Cam's tape drive I gave up but after a bit of stroking it worked so i can get the video off the old tape and put it on my (repaired or upgraded) pc. As you can see my old shrek recording turned up a few times as the old tape was not erased properly.

screwing everything up.

Unfortunately the tape i used was the same defective one as the AES video as the stupid warcraft
turned up again midway.

And then to make things worse my battery died during the ending but that's ok as it was only missing the cake part.

Chances are quite high that I can bring a camera to record the QSS NDP celebrations,
just without the parade cos we're stuck in the hall. I'll just use footage from the speech day
video for that.

Last smashy video in quite awhile.

So they say Video tapes are dead, and that if your VCR still works, you are an idiot that has
yet to appreciate the power of DVD.


I'm sorry, but when you want to recoed THAT show on TV you must use some sort of recorder.
And DVD and HDD recorders are great. Except that they cost more than the TV in my room
(The 14 inch CRT one).

That's why I am proud to own a SONY VCR that I bought just three years ago to replace the
non-functional Thomson VCRap. An i still record on videotapes. The VCR was cheap (Clearance)
and the tapes are dirt ($2 a tape anyone?) Sure, they offered crap quality and my recorder is a basic Mono 2 head one (the shit version to people who grow up with tapes) but hey, I can watch my recored movies without spending a chihuahua and half of a Betamax.

Then last month i picked a VHS tape out from a trash can and since it's wet, IT'S DEAD! So this means I get to destroy it. Fantastic.




Next up: i do a documentary on why outdated machines just are simply better. Except printers.

I have a new problem hamsters.

For some extraordinary reason the Aesthetics night video (AES) was extremely popular,
especially the teacher singing part.

What is odd now is that I have Nothing that is as good as the AES video.

I have a few older videos ready (aka backup) and I wonder which should be this week's video

I actually have 2 of these, with one in a toaster. may edit if i have time.

2. Singing chihuahuas
Ever heard a chihuahua howl? You'll be surprised.


Note that i may not be doing any more smashy contests. It's starting to get boring and it's also harder to clean up. Flash cartoons take 10 billion years to finish (the last tommy took 2 weeks of torture) and there are no more major school events.

for the poorer people who have yet to appreciate the quality of DVD I may dub a VHS (cassette)
version, but the odd probelm is VHS tapes costs more than DVDRs.

Don't forget my DVD is NOT the same as it was taken with my camera at the back of the hall
(as seen in video below) So feel free to purchase the official school version so that the NEEDY pupil fund will grow (and make MR gary Tan happy).

Aesthetic Night Video!!!

OK! That was a great night!

Now since we would be seating far back away from the stage, my measly Cyber Shot
with a crappy 3x zoom would not do. (the camera used in all my videos)

That's why I decided to use my 10 year old Panasonic VHS Camcorder, which has
14x zoom, far more than required. Unfortunately it's an old pile of junk with 1 hour battery life and a rubbish 45 minute tape. This means that I can only use it for select performances where
zooming is required. The rest are recorded with normal digicams. (resulting in rubbishy sound and quality.) There are also some VHS recording errors in the band performance, but it's ok.

There are a whopping total of 7 video parts as youtube only allows 10 minute clips.
Yes, EVERYTHING in the Aesthetics night was filmed, edited and uploaded!

ONLY GCP GOES THIS FAR!!!!

iPod Destroy

A kind friend of mine gave me a genuine iPod(R) Mini(TM) to try out.

He wanted to convince me that iPods are better than my beloved Aiwa walkman,
so he sent me his little white buddy.

Needless to say it met the wrath of Hamiton the hammer.





Yes, that's a real (NOT FAKE OR PAPER) ipod. I guess he may not be very happy with this.

A creaky old Casio Calculator gets reborn into a shiny new one.



It actually took quite awhile to film this crap because I had to REASSEMBLE THE
DAMN CALCULATOR over 10 times for every cut. I got to put the buttons back in all their
slots! Tedious!

The calculator destroyed in this film was broken and unusable.

The many Calculators used. All were dropped for filming (All still worked except for
the broken one)


The Aftermath-may put it back together someday.

I have a plan to toast all 27 used correction tapes that have been flowing in
since the last smashy video two months ago. Then I can smash them all and create
a huge mess. Unfortunately there's the risk of exploding correction tapes as
some are made of evil plastic (tomboww CX5)
In case you don't know it's actually easy to clean up the smashed bits.
However it is difficult to clean up anything that has water or ice associated
as it takes time. (frozen stuff)


Yeast video
Filmed already. Video of high pressure bottle of yeast being opened and stinking up my whole room to smell like vomited wine.


Flash Animation
Will probaly never be completed as these damn things require time, effort,
and the fact i reject most of my own work due to abysmal quality. Selteco flash
designer is outdated by 10 years. I use that. No macromedia for me.
Current idea is a musical, thinking of crashing bus 32 into a tree.

Now this is a great class effort and shows how great our teamwork is. except for
one patch of territory we tried to collect newspapers from.

Malvin's condo.
ehen malvin enthusiastically invited us to visit his super condo
we found a stray cat sitting by the road, a kitten, only a few weeks old.
The mother had abandoned it.

It was crying.
Melinda tried to comfort it. did not work.

However soon a woman who claims shes has cats turns up, rubbed its scruff and
ordered us to find its mother. of course the mother was gone, so we left the woman to
take the cute little kitty away, still mewing.

Sound familiar? yeah. After the incident i found this to be strikingly similar
to disney's Fox and the Hound. To summarize, the movie was exactly the same as the above incident but the mother fox was killed(think bambi) and the baby fox was saved by an old woman. If you don't know what i'm talking about and you know what
disney's Chicken Little looks like, you're missing out on a time when disney made good movies without the help of pixar.


That, was the only thing i can call "disney" on that newspaper collecting day.

(START RANT)
Malvin's condo was like a mini paradise, complete with water falls and
resort quality swimming pools. But that was the only good points.

Malvin arrived with a key to let us into his high sercurity fortress.
He showed us his condo and we found malvin's little brother, geffery.
Amazingly, he was shorter than m,alvin and his behaviour was out
of the pan.

Think of malvin's little brother as a Liwen with sugar and drung and in super hyper
mode.

Anyway he still behaved much better than malvin as he talked less and
like me, does not seem to like malvin. He even pointed out that malvin's
underwear was all over the place and i am not joking. on the broken piano, on the floor, everywhere. Odd.

Then we went collecting newspaper. The residents there are not only weired , but
even rude and aggresive.One even insulted me and ryan as bad students because our chinese is not strong she started gossiping about us to another woman. We collected a minute amount of newspaper and sadly, wasted alot of time. then malvin's brother wet his pants.

But it gets worse. Someone THREATHENED TO CALL SERCURITY to chase us out for
extorting newspaper or something. We panicked and ran back to malvin's apartment.
Malvin wanted to collect more but i had enough. I ordered him to unlock the gate and get us out of that place. Malvin treated us like criminals and wanted to sneak us out. we argued that we have done nothing wrong and there was no need for sneaking.


I don't blame the kang kong man but honestly his neighbours are ridiculous.
Even the people at hong yun's flat area, the giant mansions at dover mrt were so much friendlier. Why? Makes no sense.

Anyway, congratulations to all, even to the kang kong for helping us out before he ran home. This is a true class effort, because differences were put aside. somewhat.

I did take some footage of the cat and malvin. maybe i'll post it up soon.

Seems that the Speech day video is a new hit and has gathered 50+ views in a week.
However the Junxian video got over 80 hits and that makes me wonder how many times people watch it. However that's gone now though. Even the CIP videos got over 50 hits. Smashy contests get rubbish hits, as i have too many already.

BEFORE I continue, rest assured that this game is SAFE for your PC and

Main level:

1. To get to the next LEVEL, ALL the kang kong men in the area must be shot or run over.

2. In the following boss area, USE ^ button to chase and shoot the boss approx. 30 times to destroy him.

3. I have hidden a little secret or two in the first level.


THIS IS THE DEMO ONLY AND NOT THE FULL VERSION. FULL GAME WILL COME OUT MUCH LATER.

CONTROLS:


<>^V - Left right up down. Up accelerates, down reverses, Left and right turns.

ALT - Fire a bullet (or ball)

Spacebar -Brake.

N - Turbo boost. Uses up health meter tho.

R - Resets game.

ESC - Quit game



Destroy all the kang kong men you see by running them over or shooting them wit hthe ALT button. Each one gives you
5 points.

TIP: Search around buildings

Before you continue, yes I did the voices and composed the music!

Once you are sure you killed all the kang kong men
the boss will start throwing SNP PACIFIC PUBLISHING's NEW ADDITIONAL MATHEMATICS at you.
You can shoot them or dodge them.

Use ALT button to shoot at the BOSS's lower area. He will eventually die.
Chase him by pressing the ^ and [SPACEBAR] buttons

PRess R to reset the game anytime.

GENERAL ISSUES:

The game has a tendancy to slow down or lag and is not unusual.

There may still be several glitches and/or fatal errors. find any and report to me.

If you seem to be stuck in a wall turn around and accelerate away to break free.

The malvin run-down game is till coming out. the second one that is but i have since been running into framerate probelms so no luck.

However i will be working on a 2d platformer in my free time, expect around by end of febuary, along with the new malvin run-down game.


Also, this week a new smashy video will go out even though the last one flopped at a measly 7 views, which is a failure by my standards. It will get a rerun soon. Guess the o levels puts a dead end to web surfing. long gone are the days when one of my stupid videos get more than 10 views a day. o levels are upon us, all our blogs die slow, horrid deaths. In my first post here i report that all blogs suck and so does this one.
