The most annoying crap in the world

The most annoying crap in the world is music palyers on blogs that start palying automatically once a page loads.

I always end up reaching for the stop/mute button the moment I enter such a blog- it doesn't really matter if it's music i love or hate, i will reach for the mute button.
It might be better if it doent actually paly automatically, think about it.
If i set GCP's videos to paly automatically you'll get what i mean. You might not want to watch it. But it turns itself on. It's irritating.

It's like being forced to swallow down the content, no matter what (even by my standards). I have no idea why this shit can become so popular. It's even worse if your music is distasteful or sounds like naked people eating thier own socks.

Thankfully though, not all of these embedded music palyers start palying automatically. I believe you can set it or something.

It was my personal opinion that all blogs suck (check first post) except for a small few because of how similar and repetitive each one gets- it's treated liek a diary for random posts about what you did today, what you like, rants, and that you're a big fan of chris brown. This is not just a rant, it's an expository essay with intentional spelling mistakes such as "palying". It makes it sufficently diffrent from a wall of text about how you love chris brown. It just is.

This is why GCP is mostly void of stuff liek that but filled with pointless videos and random rants but rarely stuff you'll find in most other student's blogs.

Hey, Ive got a brilliant Idea. I'll give it a try! I havent done this sort of thing before!

Dear GCP, friends, pals and that guy from poly that loves chris brown:


I went out with some friends to the Singapore zoo today to draw animals for practice and learn photography. My Nikon D90 is so awesome. I took several pictures of wild African dog. But they no has red foxes or cuddly fennecs. I used macro to take photos of leaves close up. And then we drew the horse in the kiddie centre. It had an erection. The kids loved it.

And ive just discovered this awesome new song. I'ts called Theme Of Athelic Donut Lifts from Yoshi's Island. It's orchestrated and it's awesome. It's palying right now on loop on my imeem. I bet you love it. cos i do. oh yes. Koji kondo is teh awesome. And final fantasy music. FFIV's theme of love is awesome. it's next in the playlist.

Homework is killing me. I'm going to die soon. The teacher made us draw crocodiles 6 times. Not cool. Not Cool. NOT COOL. But who cares! EXAMS ARE OVER!!!!! I AM FREE NOW! I decided to celebrate Hari Raya by eating Biscuits with my pets. The dogs didnt eat it. damn.

OH AND i built a new tamiya model during teh holidays! It's a Toyota Celica GT 4 that took me a month to build! It is extra high detailed with custom made plastic details and Red Tamiya TS-8 paint! Look at the high-polished shine and photo taken with the D90 with macro!


IT'S AWESOME RIGHT?! RIGHT?!!!!

And i changed my blogskin to an even more cool and cuddly one. Tommorow i shall go and collect my testimonial LOL. See what they write! I forgot about it for 3 months lololol. damn scared leh.

Also i cant figure out why people buy china car with zero safety star. Chery QQ. $10000 only.
lawnmower can go faster. milo tin and proton car safer. look like pikachu. I hate pickachu. LOL.
I also cant figure out why jap people love monster hunter so much.

Then i discovered this awesome new anime. It's called macron or something. got planes. Need fansubs lor. Somemore got model kits of the planes! so expensive. sian.

I velly sad. My hamster broke his leg. i want to put him out of misery. I beat him to death with Hamilton. I made hima coffin out tissue box and decorated it with the food he likes. Then i bury him and put flowers on top. I cried. I'm emo now. waa.

Now you can take a deep breath. No, i dont own a D90. Yes, I like my tamiya and yoshis and whatnot. No i made up the hamster part. It's mostly dreary stuff no one really wants to read that happens in everyday life and personal opinions. This is why blogs are mostly read by a circle of friends and no one else, because nobody else cares. Anyone outside 404/405 most probaly wont understand any GCP video for that matter.

GCP season4

Today's topic is printers.




Cant be bothered to do a new gcp logo for this season. so there.

The "facts" put forward in this video is for entertainment purposes (and a pretty crap one at that)
so they are not completely true. All the events in the video were planned beforehand. The main reason to create this video was to get some use out of a broken vcr. To be honest epson cartridges are much cheaper than most other brands that are not completly crap.

The hp you see here had cartridges that cost $100 for a whole set 7 years ago. that's crap. They wont get away with that today. I'm surprised it still works- and the ink cartridges were still working (well, magenta is.) after
3 years in storage.

First Weekly Update

No video this week but we has my Studio Project final.

You're supposed to do something to destroy the culture of chinatown while avoiding anything obscene or anything with humans or animals in it. Done in photoshop with a plastic pencil on plastic paper at 300dpi. Note the nonsensical chinese i copied from the Nanyang Pri Sch theme song and the hidden cheehwahwa.

Here's my DRAWING module final assignment. Was scanned in already for mock portfolio.

Super Mega Japan Shopping Edition

Hong yun was sad when i said i barely went shopping in while in Japan (so that he wont ask what i bought for him).

However, while imma there I took a detour to Akihabara, Tokyo (where people get stabbed randomly).

There's a gaem store selling just second hand classic and retro video gaems at cheap prices. It's called Super Potato (what?) and it ranges from Famicom all the way to Dreamcast.

I bought 5 N64 gaems, 2 still in the box, as they would be in 1996. I wanted a spare N64 controller, but a whole console set cost just 900Y more. so i got a boxed, nearly new set (3000 and something yen, about $30-40), just as it would be in 1998 (the original receipt was sold in 11/7/1998).

See the copy of F-Zero X? That was completly new-never used before for 10 years. Everything works perfectly.

Look at this video of the store: SUPER POTATOES If you look closely, you can spot the copy of F-zero X that i got.

The games are: (Super mario 64, wave race 64, f zero x, mario kart 64, paper mario.)
They are in jap but some have english text. I will need a translation guide to play paper mario as it is an rpg.)

I got 3 Tamiya kits from a second store chain called BookOFF. it costs about 1/2 the price of kits sold here, and are also new in the box. I already built and painted the Celica.


I now have 2 N64s. The paystations are now outnumbered by a factor of 2.

A Preview of some Crap

If you're wondering why Imma been so busy, keep in mind imma in a killer poly course with tremendous amounts of HW.

Here's a preview of what i do in Drawing Fundmentals:

( Note: The cartoon characters (Tommy, Squirrel and Space Hamster) as well as the cars are done during lecture/break time when i was bored. Not part of what we must draw.)


The chair, hand and stapler are works we must draw before the first lesson, to compare how crap they are at first and how awesome they will be after the course is done with. the N64 controller is done in charcoal, the rest are all random stuff i do for fun. There's actually alot more but i cant be bothered or they are with the 'chers.



See the last picture? The Super Soundcube (part of last year's pizza challenge) has been dismantled. i will update on what happens to it later.

Today we has a new banner, replacing all that old crap.

As you can see, ive been screwing around with photoshop, corel and some wacom thing.

I love the absolute hatred of our rival (Queenstown Sec) at the start. We have 'Chers performing, me doing some pointless commentary. Quality could have been higher but the VHS footage and 14X zoom makes it a little blurry but still very watchable. Go relieve some memories (or 1 hour of sleep) with the AES home video. (Yes, the choir was truly crap back then. YOU CANT HEAR THEM SINGING, only the piano)


Note: At one point the camcorder malfunctioned and a bit of Band footage was lost to erm, Warcraft3. I cut this part out.

Whenever a program needs to alert you in OSX (no matter how trivial) it bounces up and down like a jack russell terrier. It does not stop until you click on it and satisfy its hunger.

In other news i have to draw a damn chair. In more news Nintendo 64 looks terrible on a hdtv. In even more news tadpoles murdered an entire tank of fish.

Let's talk about that shall we. toads are evil. They may look cute, save the earth and eat mosquitoes. BUT THEY KILL ME FISH. Two of them ended up inside the tank and layed lots of eggs inside. Over 3 billion tadpoles hatched. All the tadpoles OBTAINNED all the oxygen in the water, and everything just suffocated to death. BUT TEH TADPOLES SURVIVE. Solution? Net + Drain. No sympathy to evil fish killers.

Note to toads: NO HAS SEX IN MY TANKS


In even more unrelated news is single button mice. Apple still has no clue that single button mice was crap the moment two-button mice came out (billions of years ago). I don't care, 2finger+control+click DOES NOT replace the simplicity of having to press a single button. No matter what delusional Apple fanboys say, apple mice are a piece of crap. You may have noticed this in some videos (do guess).

I also come to the conclusion that the new, coveted Macbook Air (worlds thinnest Laptop) is complete rubbish. Sure, i admire them for the engineering miracle and the emphasis on design, something lacking in most machines today. But it needs to get real, It's horrendously overpriced for the performance, has no disc drive, overheats, and has poor performance. It overheats just watching youtube videos. even photo editing causes it to fry eggs. now Apple fans will say "It's just for basic stuff, it's the beauty of this wonderful machine with mac osx and great looks and-" youre telling me a near $3000 laptop cant do much? not to mention lack of features. it only one hidden usb port. Apple fanboy excuse? "Use a usb hub or go blueteeth-" OH. AMAZING. it needs a usb hub. wow. And it needs an external dvd drive. MORE MONEE TO SPENDDDD ON THE ALREADY OVERPRICED MACHINE

And then factor in the single button mouse (again) and that battery is not replacable, Pay-more-to-get-less Disk drive space (If anyone buys the SSD version, they either are crazy or are completely delusional.) maxxed out, the thing can cost you 5000.

In case youre wondering why im talking about apple products, i now own one.

I wanted to make some Aprils fools joke thig. But seeing as this could only lead to painted sanitary pads i gave up and posted some other crap instead.

I decided to make an advert on something that no one will buy using money. A crap one at that.




There are real crap ads on crap products out there, wonder why people buy these things?

By the way, the Hyper Gamer thing started as a MSN joke between me and a Vietnamese guy (he NEARLY thought it was a real Gaming Logitech mouse). The white mouse was from my first computer, a Macintosh Color Classic. The broken graphics card is my Geforce 6600.

The Hyper Gamer is a Logitech SAW 34, a piece of useless crap (ironically) that i got for free. note the oh-so-real sticker. It's a ball mouse so it's about as accurate as my Amats answers.
